Saigon Water Park is a water-based recreation complex in the Go Vap district of Ho Chi Minh City, featuring pools, water slides, a wave pool, and a sandy beach area. The site is divided into several sections, ranging from calm pools to faster rides, spread across a large open-air grounds.
The park opened in 1997, making it one of the first modern water parks in Vietnam. It was built during a period when Ho Chi Minh City was expanding its urban leisure options after the economic reforms of the late 1980s.
On weekends and holidays, the park draws large family groups from across Ho Chi Minh City, reflecting how locals spend their days off. Visitors of all ages mix in the same spaces, which gives the place a lively, communal feel.
