Frogner Manor, Heritage manor house in Frogner, Norway
The manor house stands at the southern end of Frogner Park, featuring four wings arranged around a central courtyard with a porte-cochère entrance.
Major Hans Jacob Scheel constructed the initial structure in 1750, beginning with a log house that remains as the middle section of the current building.
The Oslo City Museum, established in the manor house since 1909, presents exhibitions about the historical evolution of the Norwegian capital.
The manor house maintains regular opening hours as part of the Oslo City Museum, allowing visitors to explore the historical interiors and exhibitions.
Former United States President Ulysses S. Grant attended a gala dinner at the manor during the summer of 1878.
