A Portuguese aristocrat of Irish descent commissioned a renowned architect in 1902 to build this residence for his daughter. The construction took place during a period when the Portuguese coast became a preferred location for the upper classes.

The interior displays painted tiles and wooden ceilings rescued from an ancient chapel and convent in Lisbon. These pieces reflect how local craftsmanship was valued and preserved across generations.
