Haller Castle

Haller Castle is a manor house in Ogra featuring classicist baroque architecture with vaulted wall structures and a wine cellar beneath the main building. The structure includes 14 rooms furnished with period pieces and equipped with various facilities.

The castle was built in the 17th century and belonged to the Haller family until it was nationalized in 1949, later returned to descendants in 2011. This transfer marked the beginning of a new chapter for the property.

The castle holds artifacts from its previous residents, including old photographs and personal documents that offer insight into lives lived here across different periods. These objects tell the story of the people who once called the place home.

The castle is located about 22 kilometers from Târgu Mureș and features a restaurant with Transylvanian cuisine and conference facilities. Visitors will also find recreational areas with wellness amenities on the grounds.

The grounds feature a recreation and wellness center with pools filled by natural salted water sourced from a spring directly beneath the castle. This rare resource creates a distinctive experience for visitors.
