Slănic Moldova casino

Slănic Moldova Casino is an Art Nouveau building from around 1900 with elegant facades and detailed decorative work across multiple stories. Inside are an auditorium, town library, and various public rooms used by residents for different purposes.

The building was constructed between 1892 and 1894 under architect George Sterian and was one of the first casino establishments in Romania. After the war ended, it was converted in 1948 into a House of Culture to serve the community.

The building serves as a House of Culture where locals gather for theater, concerts, and community celebrations. You can see how the rooms still carry the marks of this role in daily cultural life.
