Majit Gafuri Memorial House, Historical museum in Ufa, Russia.
The Memorial House contains exhibitions displaying manuscripts, photographs, and personal belongings of the Bashkir poet and playwright Majit Gafuri.
The museum, established in 1948, represents one of the first literary museums in Bashkortostan and occupies the residence where Gafuri lived from 1924 to 1934.
The museum collection presents numerous documents and artifacts that demonstrate the development of Bashkir literary language through Gafuri's works.
Located near the Bashkir Academic Drama Theater, the museum welcomes visitors from Tuesday to Saturday between 11:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
Two hundred streets across Russia carry the name of Majit Gafuri, with the memorial house standing as the central point for studying his legacy.
