Söder Torn

The Söder Torn rises 86 meters with its octagonal floor plan, featuring red granite slabs across its tapering facade and 24 floors of residential units.

The building stands on the former Fatburen lake site, which became a rail yard in the 1860s before transforming into a residential district between 1985 and 1995.

Danish architect Henning Larsen designed the tower with an initial vision of 40 floors, but city planning officials reduced the height to maintain Stockholm's architectural scale.

The building contains 85 apartments, two elevators, underground parking facilities, and a central stairwell connecting all residential floors to common amenities.

The top floor serves as a shared party room enclosed by glass walls, providing residents with panoramic views across Stockholm's urban landscape.
