Nangbeto Dam

Nangbeto Dam is an embankment structure that crosses the Mono River and creates a large reservoir behind it. The installation includes a power station designed to generate electricity from the water flow.

This dam was built in the 1980s with international funding and became an important infrastructure project for the region. Its completion marked a major step toward providing electricity to multiple countries in West Africa.
