Khon Buri

Khon Buri is an administrative district in Nakhon Ratchasima with twelve sub-districts spread across a wide area. The landscape features the Sankamphaeng mountain range to the south and is crossed by several waterways that support farming throughout the region.

The district takes its name from its connection to the Mun River and was originally a minor territory. In 1939, it became a fully independent district with its own administration.
