Atatürk's House Museum, House museum in Muratpaşa, Turkey.
Atatürk's House Museum is a two-story stone building with seven rooms on the upper floor and multiple chambers on the ground level. Inside, visitors find photographs, documents, and personal items from his life displayed throughout the spaces.
The building originally served as the governor's office before becoming a residence during Atatürk's visits to the city in the 1930s. The original structure was later demolished to make way for street expansion.
The museum displays personal belongings of Atatürk and coins minted during the Turkish Republic era, offering a direct look at his life and the period he shaped. These objects help visitors understand the person behind the historical figure.
The museum is located on Işıklar Caddesi and is open daily, with extended hours during summer months and shorter hours in winter. Admission is free and a typical visit takes about an hour.
The current building is an exact reconstruction of the original structure, which was demolished to make room for street expansion. A local electricity company funded the restoration of this reconstructed building.
