Karaalioğlu Park, Public park in central Antalya, Turkey.
Karaalioğlu Park is a public park along the coast of Antalya that extends across clifftops overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Multiple walking paths wind through the grounds, which are planted with native vegetation and equipped with benches and cafes.
The park takes its name from a historical figure and provides access to the Hıdırlık Tower, a Roman structure from the second century that served as an ancient lighthouse. This tower marks the entrance to the grounds and overlooks what was once a thriving ancient harbor.
Several sculptures are displayed throughout the grounds, including the Worker and Son monument by Mehmet Aksoy and a statue honoring poet Nâzım Hikmet. These artworks reflect local heritage and serve as gathering places for visitors walking the park.
The park remains open year-round and sits near central Antalya, making it easily reached by public transportation. Well-maintained pathways and multiple rest areas allow comfortable walking at your own pace while taking in the views.
A large hand sculpture within the park gestures toward plans for an Urban History museum to be built on these grounds. This future project connects the current landscape with upcoming cultural additions to the site.
