Signature Tower, Unfinished skyscraper in Nashville, United States
Signature Tower is an unfinished mixed-use skyscraper in Nashville that was designed to combine residential apartments, office spaces, and retail sections at one location. The structure was planned to rise prominently in the downtown area along Church Street.
The project was originally planned in 2007 with designs for 70 floors, but was scaled down in 2008 due to economic conditions. Following this modification, the building was redesigned to reach 50 stories instead.
The building represents Nashville's real estate evolution, reflecting the transformation of the former Cain-Sloan department store location into modern development plans.
The unfinished building is visible from public streets as you walk through downtown Nashville, giving you a sense of the city's development history. You can view it from surrounding areas without any special access required.
The original design would have made it the tallest building in the Southern United States, surpassing structures outside New York City and Chicago.
