David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium, Football stadium in Lawrence, United States

The Memorial Stadium at the University of Kansas spans across an extensive area with a capacity of 47,233 spectators and features a horseshoe-shaped design.

Built in 1921 as the first college stadium west of the Mississippi River, Memorial Stadium honors University of Kansas students who died in World War I.

The stadium served as a central venue for the Kansas Relays track and field competition from 1923 to 2013, drawing athletes from across the nation.

The stadium offers enhanced seating options, including 2,300 club seats and upgraded videoboards positioned 60 feet closer to the field for better visibility.

The facility underwent transformation in 2017 when it was renamed after David Booth, following his substantial financial contribution for stadium improvements.
