The Lied Center houses a main auditorium with 1,979 seats and a pavilion space that accommodates 200 people for smaller events.

The Lied Center opened on September 28, 1993, funded by the Lied Foundation Trust and support from the Lawrence community.

The center presents an annual program featuring musical performances, theatrical productions, and dance shows from performers across multiple countries.

Located at 1600 Stewart Drive, the venue offers online ticket sales and opens its box office one hour before each performance.

The back lawn functions as a natural amphitheater, providing an outdoor space for additional performances throughout the year.
