The six-story residential structure at 1100 Grand Concourse features intricate metalwork details above the entrance and ornamental corner statues in the entryway.

Built in 1928 by architects Gronenberg & Leuchtag, the building was initially named John Ericsson Building and became part of the Grand Concourse Historic District in 1987.

The building housed notable residents including Lazarus Joseph, who served as New York State Senator and New York City Comptroller from 1891 to 1966.

Located near multiple transportation options, including the D Express train at the corner and the 4 express train two blocks away, connecting residents to Manhattan.

The top floor apartments offer direct views of downtown New York City and Yankee Stadium, with south and west exposures providing natural illumination throughout the day.
