1875 K Street, Commercial office building in downtown Washington, D.C., United States
1875 K Street is a 12-story office building in downtown Washington, D.C. with a distinctive corner tower located at K and 19th Streets. The structure features a sculpted precast concrete facade with black windows that creates a strong vertical visual presence on the city block.
The building was designed by Hartman-Cox Architects and opened to the public in 2001 as a new addition to downtown Washington's office landscape. It has since become an established presence in the city's business district.
The building represents postmodern architecture through its neo-Gothic elements and vertical characteristics that stand out in Washington's downtown commercial district.
The building sits close to Farragut North and Farragut West Metro stations, making it easy to reach by public transit. Visitors can access the structure from multiple downtown streets and observe its striking exterior from the surrounding block.
The structure extends 470 feet along the block with a facade that mimics French limestone, making it visible from multiple blocks in the surrounding area.
