Javanshir Fortress is a medieval defense structure situated on the right bank of Aghcachay River with multiple towers and thick stone walls. The inner complex called Naringala has a distinctive polygonal shape forming the core of the site.
Built in the 7th century under the Mehranid dynasty of Caucasian Albania, this fortress served as an administrative hub for ruler Javanshir. It became a key stronghold in the region during its medieval period.
