Church of the Holy Trinity

The Church of the Holy Trinity features three naves topped with a central dome and three smaller domes, measuring 30 meters in length with high columns.

Completed on September 19, 1867, the church was designed by architects Kolyu Ficheto and Gencho Novakov during the Bulgarian National Revival period.

The church contains an iconostasis created by Anton Peshev between 1870 and 1872, displaying 73 icons painted by Nikolai Pavlovich.

Regular religious services take place in this central Svishtov location, which maintains active connections with the Eastern Orthodox community through various ceremonies.

The bell tower, added between 1883 and 1886, incorporates Baroque architectural elements that distinguish it from traditional Orthodox church designs.
