Читалище „Еленка и Кирил Д. Аврамови“

Читалище Elenka and Kiril D. Avramovi is a cultural center in Svishtov housed in a distinctive building designed by Austrian architect Paul Brang. The facility features a grand theater hall in the city center, notable for its exceptional acoustic qualities and distinctive interior design.

The institution was founded on January 30, 1856, by four Bulgarian intellectuals, marking the beginning of the cultural center movement in Bulgaria. Kiril D. Avramov enabled construction of the present building in the early 20th century through substantial financial support.
