Los Llanos de Aridane is a municipality on La Palma in the Canary Islands, located on the western side of the island. The town combines black sand beaches with farming areas and features schools, colleges, and other civic services.
The municipality was established in August 1812 and initially encompassed El Paso and Tazacorte as one administrative area. Over time, these settlements separated and became their own independent municipalities.
