San Agustín del Guadalix

San Agustín del Guadalix extends across 38.3 square kilometers of terrain at an elevation of 684 meters in the northern part of Madrid Region.

The municipality experienced substantial growth during the late twentieth century, with its population increasing from 2,459 residents to more than 9,000 by 2006.

The residents celebrate their main festival on the third Sunday of May, dedicating the celebration to the Virgin of Navalazarza.
