L'Arenal d'en Casat

L'Arenal d'en Casat is a flat sandy beach with soft sand and occasional gravel patches, stretching for 500 meters along the coast with a narrow width of 20 meters. The shoreline is bordered by natural dune formations that separate the beach from the inland landscape.

This beach is part of the Balearic Islands, where natural coastal areas have been protected by environmental regulations since the 1980s. These protections were established to preserve the region's unspoiled coastline.

This stretch of coast represents a Mediterranean tradition where visitors can experience a clothing-optional setting within a natural environment, away from the typical resort beaches of the island.

The beach can be accessed via the C-712 highway followed by marked walking paths leading to the shore. The nearby Club Nàutic de Ca'n Picafort serves as a useful reference point for orientation.

The dune formations support specialized coastal plant species adapted to salty conditions, creating visible natural barriers between the beach and inland areas. These plants are rarely found in other parts of the island.
