Ethnographic Museum of Grandas de Salime

The museum spans 3,000 square meters across three buildings: Casa Rectoral, Casa del Molinero, and A Casoa, displaying regional agricultural implements and traditional tools.

José María Naveiras Escanlar established the museum in 1984, starting with his personal collection of artifacts from western Asturias rural communities.

The exhibition spaces include detailed representations of daily rural life, from textile workshops to wine cellars, portraying the regional peasant society.

The museum operates Tuesday through Sunday, with admission at 1.50 euros and reduced rates for children between 6 and 12 years old.

The collection contains over 11,000 objects obtained through donations from local residents, including a functional water mill and traditional granaries.
