Arínzano

Arínzano is a winery in the Tierra Estella valley that spreads across a large estate with vineyards and wooded areas. The Ega River runs through the land and divides it into different sections, while modern wine cellars sit alongside the historical buildings.

Winemaking at this site goes back to the 11th century when a Spanish nobleman first planted vines. Over hundreds of years the property was run as a private estate and developed into a significant wine producer.

The name Arínzano comes from the Spanish noble family that settled here centuries ago. Visitors can still see the old church and manor house that shape the estate and reflect its long-standing heritage.

The winery sits in a valley roughly half an hour from Pamplona and welcomes visitors for wine tastings. During a visit guests can see the vineyards, tour the cellars, and sample various wines.

The building was designed by renowned architect Rafael Moneo, who merged modern forms with the old surroundings. The design created a place where contemporary style and historical structure peacefully coexist.
