Playa de la Goleta

Playa de la Goleta is a sandy beach along the Corralejo coast with light-colored sand and clear waters framed by rocky formations at its northern end. The shoreline curves gently and is backed by a row of restaurants, bars, and shops that line the area immediately behind the sand.

The shoreline remained quiet for centuries before the 1970s brought coastal development and tourism infrastructure to the area. This shift transformed a sleepy fishing village into a busy seaside destination.

The beach serves as a meeting place where locals and travelers mingle along the promenade, reflecting the everyday rhythm of the coastal town. Life here moves at the pace of the tides and the sunlight that changes throughout the day.

The water is pleasant year-round, though warmest in summer months, while strong winds may occur at other times of the year. Public facilities like showers and loungers are on hand, and the wide sandy area makes it easy to access for all visitors.
