Palacete de los Vargas, Casa de Campo

The Palacete de los Vargas is a Baroque palace situated along the Manzanares River within Casa de Campo Park. The building sits near Puerta del Rio and Puente del Rey, positioned within the park's boundaries.

Francisco de Vargas y Medina began building this Renaissance villa in 1519, which later became part of the Royal Site under Philip II in 1552. The property went through phases of royal use and transformation over the following centuries.
