Puente de Miraflores

Puente de Miraflores is a modern bridge that crosses the Guadalquivir River, connecting different areas of the city on both banks. It carries traffic between neighborhoods and offers views of the Cathedral and surrounding terrain.

The bridge was completed in 2003 and became the main vehicle crossing point, taking on the role once held by the historic Roman Bridge. This shift marked a new era in the city's transportation infrastructure.

The bridge connects multiple cultural zones of Córdoba, including the future Conference Center area and the modern art museum district along the riverfront.

The structure functions as a key junction on Highway A76, serving regional traffic and connections. Pedestrians and cyclists can explore walking paths along Miraflores Park on the south bank, which offer ground-level access to riverside views.

The south bank includes Miraflores Park, a recreational space connected to modern art museums and future conference facilities in the area. This landscape was developed as part of a broader strategy to transform the riverside into a multipurpose gathering spot for the city.
