Ballota Beach

Ballota Beach is a protected coastal area along the northern Asturian shore with a sandy base interrupted by pebble sections. The beach is bounded by rocky outcrops that frame the water's edge and create natural barriers.

The area gained protective status to safeguard its natural features and ecological value against threats from development. The coast has long served as a fishing ground and settlement area for local communities.
