Ballota Beach, Protected beach in Cudillero, Spain.

The sandy Ballota Beach extends for 350 meters along the northern Spanish coast, featuring white sand areas alternating with sections of pebbles.

This section of the Asturian coastline received special protection area status to preserve its natural characteristics and prevent environmental degradation.

The beach forms part of a network of coastal locations where local fishing communities maintain traditional maritime practices throughout the seasons.

Visitors can access lifeguard services from June 15 to September 8 between 11:30 AM and 7:00 PM, with parking facilities near the entrance.

During high tide periods, the beach transforms as water covers most of the sand, revealing a distinct landscape dominated by rocks and pebbles.
