San José de Los Llanos

San José de Los Llanos is a rural settlement on Tenerife's southern slopes surrounded by agricultural land and traditional stone houses. Narrow winding streets connect the residential areas through a patchwork of cultivated fields and natural terrain.

The settlement developed during Tenerife's agricultural expansion in the 1700s when families established farms to cultivate crops on these productive slopes. This early farming foundation shaped the landscape and building patterns that remain visible in the village today.
