Torre Molinos, Medieval watchtower in Torremolinos, Spain.
The Torre de Pimentel rises 12 meters high with rectangular dimensions of 7.2 by 6.1 meters at its base and 6.63 by 5.05 meters at its summit.
The fortress, constructed around 1350 during the Nasrid dynasty, protected the agricultural complex and monitored maritime activities along the Mediterranean coastline of southern Spain.
The structure received its name in 1502 to honor Rodrigo Pimentel, Count of Benavente, marking the transfer of the settlement under Málaga's administration.
Located in the old town on Cuesta del Bajondill, the tower contains two ground floor rooms divided by a low arch and features a staircase to upper levels.
The tower's lower section consists entirely of solid fill, while the interior displays brick lintels, barrel vaults, and reflective mirrors in its architecture.
