Selwo Marina

Selwo Marina is a marine animal park in Benalmádena with separate areas for dolphins, sea lions, penguins, and exotic birds, each in specially designed enclosures. The facility spreads across spacious grounds with multiple pools and viewing areas where visitors can observe the animals up close.

The park opened in 1999 as one of the first marine facilities of its kind on the Costa del Sol coast. Over the following years it grew steadily, adding new exhibits and programs to become a major attraction in the region.

The park features daily shows where visitors watch sea lions, dolphins, and penguins in action, helping people understand how these animals live and why they matter. These presentations connect guests with marine life in ways that feel immediate and real.

The park stays open year-round but has extended hours during summer months. Wear comfortable shoes and bring sun protection, as most of the grounds are outdoors and can get quite hot during peak season.
