Platja Es Pinet, Mediterranean beach in Sant Josep de sa Talaia, Spain
Platja Es Pinet is a Mediterranean beach on the northern coast of Ibiza with soft golden sand and clear water stretching about 80 meters. The shoreline is framed by native vegetation and provides a gentle approach to the sea.
The beach area contains remains from ancient Phoenician and Roman settlements that used trading routes through the Balearic Islands. These early occupants shaped this coastal region for many centuries.
Local fishermen still practice traditional fishing methods here, using small wooden boats in patterns that follow the seasons and natural cycles. Their work is woven into the everyday life of this coastal area.
The beach has showers, restrooms, a parking area for about 50 vehicles, and sun lounger rentals available. Arriving early helps secure a good spot and parking, particularly during the warmer months.
At low tide, natural rock pools form at both ends of the beach, creating small natural aquariums with Mediterranean sea life. Visitors can observe fish and other marine creatures in their natural state here.
