Platja des Pouet

Platja des Pouet is a sand beach along San Antonio Bay stretching about 300 meters, with light golden sand and transparent waters. The seabed slopes gradually, making it easy to wade and adjust to the depth.

The name Pouet comes from Catalan meaning little well, referring to an ancient water source that once existed near the shore. This name reflects how important freshwater was in this dry region.

The beach community gathers around Es Puetó, a restaurant that has shaped the social rhythm of this shore since 1969 with Mediterranean cooking and fresh seafood. People come here not just to swim but to dine and watch the daily rhythm of the beach unfold around them.

The beach provides sunbeds, parasols, lifeguards, and food services right at the shore. It sits close to shops and public transport connections, making it easy to reach and spend time here comfortably.

The protected position creates water conditions like a swimming pool, with minimal waves and currents throughout the year. This makes it ideal for visitors who prefer calm and stable water.
