Casa de Zorrilla, Historic house museum in Valladolid, Spain
The two-story building features period furnishings, personal belongings, and documents that belonged to Spanish romantic poet José Zorrilla throughout its rooms.
The Valladolid City Council acquired the property in 1917, coinciding with the centenary of the birth of José Zorrilla, to establish a museum.
The museum holds regular poetry readings, theatrical performances, and literary workshops, maintaining its role as a center for Spanish romantic literature.
Guided tours lasting 30 minutes are offered from Tuesday to Saturday between 17:00 and 20:00, and on Sundays from 10:00 to 14:00.
The garden transforms into an open-air theater during July evenings, hosting theatrical performances accompanied by refreshments for visitors.
