Parque Marítimo César Manrique

Parque Marítimo César Manrique is a seaside water park in Santa Cruz de Tenerife with three saltwater pools surrounded by dark volcanic rock and palm trees. The facility spreads across a substantial area and combines swimming zones with landscaped spaces, dining venues, and changing facilities into one integrated complex along the shore.

The park opened in 1995 as the final project of artist César Manrique before his death. Its creation represents his lasting approach to merging volcanic landscapes with contemporary leisure facilities.

The park bears the name of the renowned Canarian artist César Manrique, whose passion for nature shaped every aspect of its design. The spaces integrate black volcanic stone and native palms so naturally into the layout that the whole area feels like an organic extension of the coastline.
