The Church of San Nicolas features a single nave with six side chapels, Gothic architecture elements, and a polygonal apse behind the main altar.
Founded in 1242, this church underwent significant modifications in the 15th century, becoming one of the first twelve Christian parishes in Valencia after Jaume I conquest.
The interior walls display extensive fresco paintings depicting scenes from the lives of Saint Nicholas and Saint Peter Martyr, designed by Antonio Palomino.
The church opens Tuesday through Friday from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with general admission tickets priced at 11 euros and reduced rates for students.
Alfonso de Borgia served as rector of this church before becoming Pope Callixtus III, and a ceramic plaque commemorates this historical connection.
