Pont del Regne de València, Modern bridge in Valencia, Spain
Pont del Regno di Valencia is a modern bridge that spans the Turia Gardens, connecting Reino de Valencia Avenue with Francia Avenue. The structure measures approximately 220 meters and carries both vehicle and pedestrian traffic between these two major city areas.
The bridge was designed by engineer Salvador Monleón Cremades and opened in December 1999. It was built as part of the traffic infrastructure to better connect the two sides of the transformed riverbed area.
The four bronze sculptures at the bridge entrances act as symbolic guardians of the passage. They shape the character of the place and invite visitors to pause and observe them more closely.
The location is easy to reach on foot or by car and well integrated into the street network. Visitors can cross the bridge or view it from the adjacent garden path, with multiple access points available.
The bridge spans the former Turia riverbed, now transformed into a linear park. The contrast between the modern structure and the green gardens below creates a striking spot for walks and relaxation.
