Gran Vía 32 Building

Gran Vía 32 is a commercial building located on one of Madrid's main shopping streets, featuring an octagonal central courtyard and a grand interior staircase. The structure spans multiple floors and currently houses a major retail store with extensive shopping space throughout.

Construction began in 1921 under architect Teodoro de Anasagasti and was inaugurated by royal visitors in 1924. The building underwent significant renovations in the 1950s that updated its appearance and adapted it to changing times.

The building once housed Madrid-París, a department store that introduced Spanish shoppers to modern retail concepts and urban consumer culture. Today it continues as a major shopping destination, drawing visitors from across the city to experience commerce in one of Madrid's most vibrant locations.
