Leppävaaran Torni, Residential high-rise building in Leppävaara district, Espoo, Finland
Leppävaaran Torni is a residential high-rise with 21 floors and a height of about 68 meters (223 feet), distinguished by a facade combining natural granite slabs and white concrete elements. The building contains 113 apartments with varying floor plans, ranging from smaller to more spacious layouts.
The project began after a zoning change approved by Espoo city council in autumn 2005, with construction starting in August 2008. The high-rise was built as part of the district's modern urban development to provide additional housing for the growing population.
The building reflects Finnish living traditions by including a private sauna in each apartment, a standard feature in homes here. Large glass windows on the balconies connect residents to their surroundings and allow natural light to fill the spaces.
The building sits next to Leppävaara railway station and the Sello shopping center, providing convenient access to public transportation and shopping facilities. This location makes it easy to reach on foot and to access surrounding amenities.
The building features a shared top floor space with a club room, corporate sauna, and patio for residents. From this communal area, occupants enjoy panoramic views that stretch across the entire Helsinki metropolitan area.
