Juvan kartano, Manor house in Tarvasjoki, Finland
The main building of Juvan kartano, constructed in 1756, stands as a representative example of Finnish manor architecture in Varsinais-Suomi region.
The estate, first documented in 1464, became a royal manor in 1556 when King Gustav Vasa acquired it through a land exchange agreement.
The manor served as the birthplace of Gustaf Mauritz Armfelt and functioned as a significant military residence for the commanders of the Royal Life Guards.
The manor transitioned from state ownership through various military officers until 1934, when it was converted into private property.
During his reign, King Gustav Vasa personally visited the estate in summer 1558, using it as a center for local administration.
