Redi, shopping mall in Finland
Redi is a shopping center in Helsinki with about 175 shops and 43 restaurants located in a modern space. The building was designed by architect Pekka Helin and is divided into two main sections, Stadi and Sköne, separated by a street at street level.
The shopping center opened in September 2018 and quickly became an important shopping and dining destination in Helsinki. The name Redi comes from a Finnish word meaning a safe spot in front of a harbor, reflecting the idea of a welcoming place where people gather.
The center is easy to reach by public transport since a metro station is located on the third floor and buses stop nearby. Visitors can park for free for two hours, which gives enough time for shopping, eating, and enjoying activities without rush.
The building is part of a larger complex that includes Majakka, Finland's tallest tower building, which is visible from all around the center. The roof also features a park called Bryga, roughly the same size as Helsinki's well-known Esplanadi park, offering visitors a quiet place to rest with city views.
