The Romanée-Saint-Vivant vineyard extends across 9.3 hectares of clay and limestone soils, producing exceptional Pinot Noir wines in the Burgundy region.

The vineyard received its name from the Abbey of Saint Vivant, which owned several vineyards in Vosne-Romanée during medieval times until the French Revolution in 1791.

Multiple vineyard owners, including Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, maintain strict production standards to create wines that express the distinct characteristics of this terroir.

The vineyard follows regulations requiring 9,000 vines per hectare and produces approximately 32,000 bottles annually, with guided tours available through local wineries.

Located between La Grande Rue and Richebourg vineyards, this site maintains specific soil compositions that contribute to the wine's complexity and aging potential.
