Aquaboulevard, Water park in 15th arrondissement, Paris, France
Aquaboulevard is a leisure and sports venue in the 15th arrondissement of Paris that combines wave pools, slides, and artificial beaches across 7,000 square meters (75,350 square feet). The facility offers both covered areas and outdoor sections with hot tubs and waterfalls.
The park opened in April 1989 as the first large urban water facility of its kind in Europe. The site was designed to provide Parisian families with year-round swimming options without leaving the city.
The name combines the Latin word for water with the French term for a wide street, echoing the layout of the complex. Families from across the city gather here on weekends to swim and relax together.
Entry costs 22 euros for children between 3 and 11 years old, while adults pay 39 euros. All areas including slides and hot tubs are covered by the ticket.
The water is kept at a constant 29 degrees Celsius (84 degrees Fahrenheit) throughout the year, allowing visitors to swim even in winter. This temperature enables longer stays in the water without feeling cold.
