Ancienne manufacture des Tabacs, Historic tobacco factory in Issy-les-Moulineaux, France

The building features a central courtyard surrounded by brick structures, with a 45-meter chimney and a stone administrative building.

The factory, built between 1900 and 1904 following engineer Eugène Rolland's plans, replaced the former Gros-Caillou factory in Paris.

The facility employed 1200 workers, mainly women, producing up to 1600 cigarettes per minute during the 1930s.

The transformed factory now houses offices, residences, and commercial spaces at 17 Ernest-Renan Street in Issy-les-Moulineaux.

The metal fixation points used for tobacco drying remain visible in the renovated building's framework.
