Musée Marc-Chagall, National art museum in Nice, France

The Musée National Marc Chagall exhibits over 400 artworks, including paintings, gouaches, drawings, and pastels focused on biblical themes and interpretations.

The museum opened in 1973 with a collection of seventeen paintings illustrating stories from Genesis and Exodus, specifically chosen by Marc Chagall himself.

Two main exhibition spaces present different biblical narratives: twelve paintings depicting Genesis and Exodus, and five compositions illustrating the Song of Songs.

Located at 36 Avenue Docteur Ménard, the museum operates from 10:00 to 18:00 during summer months and 10:00 to 17:00 in winter, with closures on Tuesdays.

A Mediterranean garden designed by Henri Fisch features blue and white flowers that bloom on July 7th to commemorate Marc Chagall's birthday.
