Capo al Berdato, Summit in Haute-Corse, France
Located in northwest Corsica, Capo al Berdato reaches 2,583 meters in elevation and connects to Monte Cinto through the Créte de Sellola ridge.
The mountain's French name reflects the Genoese nomenclature used until the mid-19th century, while its Corsican name Capu à u Pardatu remains the official designation.
The mountain lies near the commune of Asco, where local shepherds maintained traditional shelters called pagliaghju along the mountain paths.
The D147 road provides access to the mountain from the north, leading through the Asco river valley with multiple hiking trails starting from different points.
The mountain's drainage system divides between the Asco river tributaries flowing north and west, while the Golo river tributaries drain the south and east sides.
