Klotild Cave

Klotild Cave is a natural limestone formation located in Pilisvörösvár within the Pilis Mountains, featuring multiple passages and chambers beneath the surface. The interior displays various calcium deposits and underground structures characteristic of mountainous terrain.

Hungarian geologists first scientifically documented and mapped this formation in the early 20th century. Their work established the site's geological importance and added it to the region's geological record.
