South West Delhi district

South West Delhi district spans 420 square kilometers and contains three subdivisions: Dwarka, Najafgarh, and Kapashera, with both urban and rural areas throughout the region.

Created in 1997 under the leadership of Sahib Singh Varma, the district emerged from the reorganization of Delhi's administrative zones to better manage the expanding metropolitan area.

The district reflects Delhi's social diversity through its population of 2.2 million residents who represent different states and backgrounds of India's multicultural society.

The district court operates in Dwarka Sector 10, while administrative headquarters are located in Kapashera, serving the local population with essential government services.
