Baghpat Lok Sabha is an electoral district in northern Uttar Pradesh covering five assembly segments: Siwalkhas, Chhaprauli, Baraut, Baghpat, and Modi Nagar. The area spreads across fertile plains near the Yamuna River, positioned between Delhi and Meerut.
The constituency gained political prominence when Charan Singh held the seat across three terms from 1977 to 1989. His son Ajit Singh later succeeded him and represented the area until 2014.
