Sim's Park, Coonoor, Botanical garden in Coonoor, India.

The park spans 12 hectares of rolling terrain, containing over 1000 plant species across 255 genera, arranged along winding footpaths and terraces.

European settlers J.D. Sim and Major Murray established this garden in December 1874, transforming it from a pleasure resort into a botanical research site.

The annual fruit and vegetable show in May brings together local agricultural producers to display their harvests and horticultural achievements.

The garden maintains temperatures between 5 and 28 degrees Celsius throughout the year, receiving approximately 150 centimeters of annual rainfall.

The glass house contains a collection of ornamental plants, while rare specimens like the Rudraksha tree and Queensland karry pine grow in outdoor sections.
